About Apex Mind

I'm Sarah, and I built Apex Mind for people who want to explore and understand their capability for change using intuition and evidence-based research.

Promoting blind positivity and telling people to repeat affirmations every day until their fears disappeared never quite cut it for me. But in the same way, I wanted something more personal than a purely clinical approach to dealing with pressure.

And through the journey of figuring out what I wanted to create, I kept coming back to one question:

Where does all that pressure come from in the first place?

I know what it feels like to build your life from pressure.

I grew up in a poor Korean immigrant household, and after our first eviction, my family spent a long stretch living in my grandmother's basement.

I started to believe that the more I achieved, the more secure my life would be.

Later, while working multiple jobs to pay my way through a psychology degree, I carried the same belief with me. I felt like being average wasn't enough. If I wanted to feel safe, I had to keep doing more.

Maybe you recognize some version of that in yourself too.

You know what you want, but you overthink the next move. You work harder when you're anxious. You put enormous pressure on yourself to get things right because failure feels like confirmation that you're not good enough.

For years, I did the same.

Then, one day, I made a small decision and posted a video online.

That one decision of putting my face on the internet set everything else in motion. I left my 9-to-5, built my own business, and nearly tripled my income during my first month as an entrepreneur.

But I don't believe one video or one mindset shift magically creates an entirely new life.

What interested me was understanding why I had started responding differently.

My background in psychology helped me understand some of what was happening. My interest in spirituality opened up another side of it.

Apex Mind grew from combining the two.

Today, my work focuses on helping people dissect the thoughts and emotional patterns that influence how they respond, then giving them practical tools and techniques to work with them.

If any of this feels familiar, the AM Method is where I'd invite you to start.
